      • The inner protector that covers the module is molded with urethane so that the cross section becomes bellows. The unevenness expands and contracts to fulfill the role of the suspension, preventing the shock from being directly transmitted to the module. The scratchy liquid crystal surface is covered with a protector to the limit where visibility can be secured and it protects from impact. The concavo-convex shape of the protector that surrounds the liquid crystal surface gives strength to the face design. In addition, we adopted the alpha gel * excellent in shock absorptivity at 4 points of the inner protector at 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock, 9 o'clock, and 12 o'clock. The shock resistance performance of the protector and the suspension performance of alpha gel rich in elasticity merge. In the unlikely event that a shock is transmitted to the inside of the case, a new structure is realized that blocks over multiple impacts so as not to be transmitted to the module itself.

Deskripsi

G-shock adalah koleksi jam tangan berbasis digital dari brand Casio. Dikembangkan mulai tahun 1981 yang dirancang oleh insinyur bernama Kikuo Ibe. Konsep G-shock bermula saat Kikuo Ibe tidak sengaja menjatuhkan jam tangan yang ia terima dari orang tuanya hingga rusak dan hancur berkeping-keping. Dari situ ia mulai berpikir untuk menciptakan jam tangan yang kuat dan tahan banting. Setelah lebih dari 200 prototipe, akhirnya jadilah sebuah jam tangan dengan nama G-Shock DW-5000 yang merupakan model G-Shock pertama pada tahun 1983. Huruf G berasal dari kata Gravity atau gravitasi dan Shock yang berarti guncangan.

G-Shock merupakan jam tangan pertama di dunia yang didesain tahan terhadap guncangan dan benturan. Jam tangan ini sudah teruji kekuatannya mulai dari dipukul hingga dilindas oleh truk, jam tetap menyala dan utuh.
