Dikenal sebagai penemu Heart Beat Movement, brand asal Jenewa, Swiss ini didirikan sejak tahun 1847. Movement ini pun menjadi pelopor 15 movement jam tangan lain.

Brand ini didirikan oleh suami-istri Peter Constant Stas dan istrinya, Francous Frederique Stas-Bax. Nama brand itu bukan berasal dari nama keduanya, melainkan dari nama kakek nenek buyutnya, Frederique Schreiner dan Constant Stas.

Dikenal sebagai brand paling inovatif, Frederique Constant merupakan perusahaan jam tangan pertama yang menciptakan silicon escapement wheel yang membuat movement jam tangan lebih everlasting.

Perusahaan ini juga yang mengombinasikan inovasi itu dengan tourbillon. Jam buatannya pun lebih presisi bila dibandingkan dengan brand lain.
