CASIO
Casio didirikan pada 1946 oleh Tadao Kashio, seorang insinyur dengan spesialisasi teknologi fabrikasi. Produk Kashio yang pertama booming adalah pipa yubiwa, sebuah cincin yang digunakan untuk memegang rokok. Lalu mulai 1949, Casio memproduksi kalkulator dan meledak di pasaran pada 1950.

CASIOTRON, JAM TANGAN PERTAMA CASIO
Pada 1974, Casio mulai melahirkan produk-produk jam tangan, menjadikannya salah satu perusahaan pionir jam tangan quartz, baik analog atau pun digital. Jam tangan pertama buatan Casio dinamai Casiotron QW02, yang juga merupakan jam tangan pertama di dunia dengan fitur perpetual calendar yang bisa secara otomatis menyesuaikan bulan dengan jumlah hari lebih pendek atau panjang.
Sejak saat itu, jam tangan Casio pun digandrungi banyak orang. Casio terus berinovasi melahirkan jam tangan yang fungsional dan berkualitas.
