Seri 5600 merupakan salah satu seri istimewa bagi G-Shock karena desain case diturunkan langsung dari G-Shock pertama di dunia pada 1983 (DW-5000C). Seri 5600 pertama kali rilis pada 1987 dan populer berkat Keanu Reeves memakainya di film Speed (1994). Desain ikonis berbentuk kotak persegi menjadi ciri khasnya.

Sejak pertama kali diluncurkan, G-Shock terus memperbarui 5600 Series hingga sekarang. Salah satu koleksi terbarunya adalah Casio G-Shock GW-B5600CD-1A2DR Charles Darwin Foundation For Galapagos yang rilis pada 2023. Koleksi ini ditujukan untuk para pria andal pencinta outdoor sports.

KOLEKSI CHARLES DARWIN FOUNDATION FOR GALAPAGOS
Casio G-Shock GW-B5600CD-1A2DR dihadirkan dengan case hitam finishing matte, dikombinasikan dengan display frame biru kaya akan motif. Jam tangan ini merupakan kolaborasi dengan Charles Darwin Foundation, sebuah yayasan yang terlibat dalam aktivitas konservasi di pulau Galapagos. Casio G-Shock GW-B5600CD-1A2DR sendiri sebenarnya merupakan kolaborasi kedua antara Casio dan Charles Darwin Foundation setelah yang pertamanya dirilis tahun 1999.

Pada bagian display frame biru, loop band, dan LED backlight Casio G-Shock GW-B5600CD-1A2DR, kamu dapat melihat motif Galápagos hammerhead shark atau hiu martil Galápagos. Hewan ini adalah salah satu hewan ikonis yang ada di pulau Galapagos.

GW-B5600CD-1A2DR dibekali Tough Solar movement yang dapat mengubah cahaya apa pun menjadi daya, mulai dari sinar matahari hingga cahaya buatan. Power reserve yang dimilikinya pun cukup panjang, yaitu hingga 10 bulan (dalam kondisi penuh dan beroperasi dalam kondisi tanpa paparan cahaya).

Jam tangan ini juga dibekali fitur Smartphone Link via Bluetooth lewat aplikasi CASIO WATCHES di Android dan iOS. Di GW-B5600CD-1A2DR, kamu juga bisa mendapatkan fitur Multiband 6 yang memungkinkan kalibrasi waktu dengan 6 pemancar jam atom melalui gelombang radio. Namun 6 pemancar jam atom ini hanya tersedia di 5 negara.
